Privacy Policy

Last updated 9 August 2026

This policy explains what information BLIZZ collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. BLIZZ (“BLIZZ”, “we”, “us”) is a business operating system — a management console, point-of-sale and kitchen terminal, and business-intelligence layer — provided by Alhussein Group. It applies to blizzplatform.com and the BLIZZ Core, Terminal, and Intelligence applications.

Who this applies to

BLIZZ is a tool for businesses. If you use BLIZZ as a business (an “Account Owner”), this policy covers your account. If you are a staff member who signs in to a till, your employer is the controller of the business data you help create; we process it on their behalf. This policy is not directed at consumers, and BLIZZ is not intended for anyone under 18.

Information we collect

We collect only what the product needs to work:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and the password you set (stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text).
  • Business configuration — the business name, currency, branches, menu and products, staff records and their PINs (stored hashed), tables, printers, and terminals you set up.
  • Operational data — orders, payments, inventory movements, cash-drawer counts, and shift records created as you run the business.
  • Device & technical data — a per-device identifier for each terminal, the app version and platform it runs, sign-in and activation events, and diagnostic error reports used to keep the service reliable.
  • Billing information — your subscription status and history. Card details, when card payment is enabled, are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.
  • Waitlist information — if you join the pre-launch waitlist, the name, business, email, country, and business type you submit.

How we use it

  • To provide and operate the service — run your console and tills, sync data across devices, and keep everything working offline and online.
  • To generate the insights, forecasts, and recommendations in BLIZZ Intelligence from your own business data.
  • To authenticate you, protect accounts, and detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
  • To provide support, and to send you service and account emails (such as email confirmation and billing notices).
  • To maintain, secure, and improve the product, including diagnosing errors.
  • To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your business data to advertise to you.

AI processing

BLIZZ Intelligence produces insights by processing your business data with a third-party AI provider (currently Anthropic). Only the data needed to answer a request is sent, it is used solely to generate your result, and it is not used to train third-party models. You control when you use Intelligence.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that help us run BLIZZ, each under contract and only for that purpose:

  • Hosting & database — our cloud infrastructure and database provider.
  • Offline sync — the service that keeps your tills working offline and syncs them when reconnected.
  • Email delivery — the provider that sends account and notification emails.
  • AI — the provider that powers BLIZZ Intelligence, as described above.
  • Payments — the payment processor that handles subscription billing (and, where you enable it, in-store payments).

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service. If BLIZZ is involved in a merger or acquisition, data may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

Data isolation & security

Each business’s data is isolated from every other business at the database level (row-level security), so one business can never see another’s. Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is restricted and logged. Staff sign in to tills with a PIN rather than a shared login, so actions are attributable. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to keep your tills trading even during outages.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Operational records (orders, payments) are kept as an append-only history so your business has a reliable ledger. When you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal, tax, or accounting reasons.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can manage most account and business data directly in BLIZZ Core. For anything else, contact us and we will help. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to sign you in and keep your session secure across BLIZZ Core, Terminal, and Intelligence. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

International processing

BLIZZ serves businesses in many markets, and your data may be processed by us and our service providers in locations other than your own. Where that happens, we take steps to ensure your data continues to be protected consistently with this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use BLIZZ after an update means you accept the revised policy.
