Terms of Service

The service

BLIZZ is a business operating system for running a shop or restaurant: management and configuration in Core, taking orders and payments on Terminal, and insights in Intelligence. Terminals are designed to keep trading offline and to sync when a connection returns. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Eligibility and accounts

BLIZZ is for business use by people aged 18 or over. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account — including staff you give access to via PINs or roles. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for your staff’s use of the tills.

Subscription and billing

• BLIZZ is offered at $199 USD per year, per branch, including up to 10 terminals per branch and unlimited staff, across Core, Terminal, and Intelligence.
• Subscriptions are billed annually and, once card payment is enabled, renew automatically each year unless cancelled before renewal.
• Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which are your responsibility.
• If a payment is missed, your tills keep taking orders and your data is never withheld; after a grace period, administrative changes in Core (such as adding staff, terminals, or branches) are paused until the account is brought current.
• Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable.

We may change our pricing; changes apply to the next renewal, not the period you have already paid for, and we will give you reasonable notice.

Your data and content

You own your business data — your menu, staff, customers, orders, and history. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process, sync, back up, and display that data in order to provide the service (including generating Intelligence results). Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you put into BLIZZ and for having any consents your customers or staff require.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use BLIZZ for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful, or to process payments you are not entitled to;
• copy, resell, or provide the service to third parties except to run your own business;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent the law permits;
• probe, scan, or breach security, circumvent licensing, or access another business’s data;
• interfere with or disrupt the service, or place an unreasonable load on it.

Availability

We work to keep BLIZZ available and reliable, and Terminal is built to keep trading even when the internet or our systems are unavailable. Even so, we provide the service on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance and may suspend the service where necessary to protect it or comply with the law.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BLIZZ is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Intelligence outputs are decision-support, not professional advice; you are responsible for the decisions you make.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using BLIZZ and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. On termination, your right to use BLIZZ ends; you may request an export of your data within a reasonable period before it is deleted, subject to any records we must retain by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and our business evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use BLIZZ after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Alhussein Group is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise. (The specific governing jurisdiction will be confirmed here on launch.)
